Esra is very understanding, methodical, and knows how to approach pupils of all levels with empathy and care. She is super diligent, organised and caring. She took me by her hand and with attention to every detail, helped me grow my understanding of drawing, seeing the tonal differences (values) with ink studies, colour theory with multiple exercises and resources, always rendering the tuition fun and enjoyable.

The workshops facilitated by Esra Kizir Gokcen at Cranford Community College were a resounding success, blending education with inspiration in a way that profoundly impacted all participants. We as a school extend our sincerest thanks to Esra for sharing her time and talent. Especially how she has dedicated her time to create bespoke workshops very much tailored to our students. This experience has been a once in a lifetime opportunity and has enriched our students' social and cultural capital. This artwork will proudly go up on display in school alongside a signed poster gifted to the school by the Artist.

This workshop helped me express my creativity and inspired me. I've learned to use lots of different materials and media together. Also, leaned how to merge different techniques. I feel very satisfied expressing myself.

Through our art lessons and projects together, Esra allowed me to hone my artistic skills in many different media types, and expanded my portfolio- through this i was able to not only get a scholarship in art for Kingston Grammar School, but I was also able to use the skills I learned in our lessons to get 9 in Art and Design GCSE. 

For example, I used the medium of etching for my mock exam in GCSE- having learned this beforehand with Esra while making Exlibris prints.

I had a great time. Lovely people, very encouraging. I'm very glad I came.
